The Big Draw! : FREE Workshopbig draw earth and pencil
Saturday: April 24th 2-4 pm

Make your mark in this hands-on celebration of drawing for everyone, inspired by the international Campaign for Drawing

What's The Big Draw?  The Big Draw is a celebration of drawing involving inclusive, participatory drawing events. These are held in museums, galleries, heritage and community sites, libraries, hospitals schools and other locations. The Big Draw seeks to promote the value of drawing as a tool for thought and creativity.

Experience and explore traditional and non-traditional tools and techniques anyone can use to draw. Discover many ways drawing can be a source of enjoyment, creativity and learning for all.

Materials will be provided, as well as direction and support for 4-6 drawing activities.
Sandra Krupp will share some key things she has learned about how drawing is used for understanding, communication, expression and invention. Sandra Krupp will also be showing a DVD called "Power Drawing: Active Learning".

Saturday, May 15th: 7-9pm.

"The storyteller, in the fullness of his craft, has struck, and the spell is on, as surely as it was when Homer conjured up a fleet of ships on a wine-dark sea bound for the walls of Troy."
