Community Canvas:

Some rain and cold weather did not keep area artists, volunteers and community members from enjoying Community Canvas, ArtWorks! Live Art Event & Fresh Paint Raffle, held in New Bedford, MA on Saturday, April 8, 2006 from 12- 6 pm.

Community Canvas was an exciting free community event featuring sixteen local artists creating original works of art in one afternoon at sites throughout New Bedford's historic downtown area. After picking up an art map at ArtWorks!, visitors had the opportunity to watch artists at work, take part in art activities, and sixteen lucky Fresh Paint Raffle winners took home an original work of art!
